Westbury Apartments

This is the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in. On the very first day I moved in, I could tell the whole place hadn’t been cleaned at all — it was full of dust, just emptied out but never actually cleaned. Secondly, the facilities are terrible. It’s already very cold in the winter, but there’s no proper heating or air conditioning. The only “AC” is a tiny unit mounted on the living room wall, which doesn’t work well at all — it’s far from what a modern apartment should have. Also, the kitchen doesn’t even have a microwave, so you have to buy one yourself. The gas stove is extremely weak, and every time I cook, the entire apartment fills with smoke and oil smell because the vent doesn’t work. Maybe these issues don’t bother older people as much, but for me, it’s really frustrating.

When I first moved here it was nice, pleasant and quiet. It’s only been about going on 3 yrs. now but I do see a decline and will need to find another place at the end of my lease. I would say the apartments since new management have taken over would be better suited for younger people and families. It’s become extremely noisy and quite hard to keep your windows open, a lot of noise in the apartments also. The grounds are kept clean and well manicured. Then you see your neighbors have friends Over and they just throw their trash in the driveway. There are a few other issues. The extra money they add to your rent is not worth it. My rent in a year went up $60.00. It took no time at all to make such a fast decline. If you’re looking for peace, quiet and respectful neighbors, you will not fin

The Westbury Apartments is a fine community. The neighbors in and nearby my building are wonderful- kind, friendly and helpful.The apartments are spacious and the vestibules, stairs and doors are kept neat and clean. Landscaping and snow and ice removal is done promptly and frequently. The management team is polite, friendly and responsive. I have been a resident at Westbury for nearly 10 years.

Moved in recently, the home office team has been absolutely amazing Kim and Chris have been helpful, understanding and great to work with. The area is quiet with several stores and places to eat right in the immediate area (all in the walking area) my neighbors are kind and have been a pleasure to associate with. The apartment itself is so nice, spacious and comfortable. That said, Westbury has been an absolutely amazing experience.

It has been nice, safe and affordable living here until they change the gas company to Entrata. Entrata is charging me two and a half times what I normally pay for gas. I'm extremely dissatisfied. My neighbors are also complaining about being overcharged. As suggested by the owner, I called, emailed and left voice mail messages and Entrata has not responded. The rental agents could not give me a phone number that allows me to speak to a live agent. So, if I and the management can't contact them, the suggestion by the owner, shows a lack of concern and responsibility.
