Prospective renters should look very closely at the utility billing structure at The Station at Willow Grove before signing a lease. Residents here are required to use Nationwide Energy Partners (NEP) for utility billing rather than the local utility. This arrangement was not clearly disclosed in a meaningful way prior to move-in, and once billing began, there was no transparent, line-by-line documentation provided showing how charges were calculated or how they matched what the host utility would have billed. When questions were raised, NEP relied on internal calculations that residents cannot independently verify and later admitted billing errors for multiple months, issuing limited credits while refusing to review other periods. Do not recommend living here. Leasing office has terrible communication! Only cares about communicating when it comes to money and rent. But if it’s anything else FORGET IT! If you want to live in a complex where they CARE not just about money but their residents, DO NOT LIVE HERE! You won’t find that here with their leasing office staff. Smh. What’s the point of being up to date when rent is due ON TIME, but no kind of respect back for their residents when we need help with something else.
One of the worst places to live at after being here for 5+ years of opening. The new management is ridiculous and has no empathy for the residents in the complex. Instead they are only worry about the money, rent, and etc. Car was unexpectedly towed and not even given a warning prior to tow. Mind you, I have a parking permit sticker on the back of my registered vehicle. The property manager, Teneisha didn’t even bother hearing my plea, instead decided to shut it down to “follow the rules and we do not make no exceptions or compensation”. She would rather have the residents unhappy and not even bother giving a fair warning for future reference. This is the worst scenerio that has ever happened living here and they do not care. I lived here for 1 yr about 2-3 yrs ago. The amenities were nice and I enjoyed being across from the W.G. mall. They even had massage chairs in the hall. However, in the summer, they began having a serious millipede infestation that they did not resolve before I moved in November. The bugs were everywhere, even the hallways (2 of the pics are from the hall). Maybe I saw more because my apartment was near the pool bathroom and the newly laid mulch in the courtyard, but it was a horrible experience and I could not get comfortable walking across any floor there at that point. The apartment also got very little light, and it’s the only apartment of the 10+ we lived in throughout my 20s and 30s that did not give the whole security deposit back (because I always leave an apartment better than I
I lived here for over a year and had a great experience. The leasing team are the friendliest, most accommodating people I have ever met. They helped with all of my concerns very quickly and made me feel at home. One example was parking: I was issued a parking spot on the roof level, which was not great for a brand new car, so when I pointed this out to them, they immediately updated their parking spot "inventory" and assigned one at a lower level in a couple of hours, fixing this not only for me, but other future residents as well. The location is great, close to the Willow Grove Mall, major highways and the train station. The area is very quiet with occasional sighting of bunnies and groundhogs.
