Listen, Run don’t walk! These folks are trash. I lived over there for about 4 to 5 years. In the beginning things were good. I had a one bedroom after 2 years the kitchen (stove) caught on fire. They said it was my fault but ALL the appliances were OLD. So I had to move into another unit partially upgraded. I took it I was use to the location. THE WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! I had a whole in my roof ceiling for 2 months. These folks came to a put a Big trash can in the middle of my living room for months! I had to call over and over and ask what was going on because it was literally raining in my apartment every time it rained. On top of that my water heater busted! Water was everywhere! And not because of me but because of another apartment issue. They bought fans in my apartment that sta

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Management absolutely does not care. The property is disgusting with trash everywhere. There are drug deals and vandalism NIGHTLY and they can’t be bothered to hire a security service. Forget the pool and bbq they advertise. BBQ area is used for the no gooders and the pools are always vandalized. People are allowed to sit and blast their music from the parking lot all hours of the day. If you say anything they send you nasty emails and target you. The girls in the office are rude as can be. Especially the manager. I don’t honestly know how she still has a job. They are constantly trying to charge for things. Including pet fees when you don’t even have a pet. They are constantly raising your water bill. The apartments honestly should be condem

Lived here for about 18 months And it was a pretty mediocre apartment. Pest control was not good so there were bugs whenever I first moved in until I paid for my own pest control All summer 2024 my air conditioning did not work and I called multiple times every day and it was never fixed, but I was still expected to pay my rent And the management of this property has changed multiple times over the last two years. I was living there. Would not recommend in any way shape or form

I have found The Darby to be quiet and a good place to live. There are some issues yes, however the apartment management and maintenance workers will help. The apartments are older and they are basic apartments- but they are very rent is a very good price in an ever escalating economy. I plan to try to update my review as time goes on - check back for more. 4 stars because there were some bugs when I moved in, but I had them come in a spray and while I still see a single bug about every other day, the timing of seeing them seems to be growing less and less. Of note: the amenities are in better repair and condition than I have seen in most other apartment complexes. Also- there are lovely good size green spaces around apartments.

Melisa in the office is reason why I am giving two stars instead of four stars. It’s not the best apartment but I use to like the fact that the office staff was nice and will fix things quickly. Since they hired Melisa (new management),I suppose, she always got an attitude when you call to fix things and don’t even put the work order in. I called because my door handle broke and she had an attitude and didn’t send anyone so now I am just planning to move as soon as my lease expire. It’s roach invested as well but MELISA is the MAIN reason why I am giving this negative review!! Leave your attitude home!!
