Lipstick on a pig: We moved in two years ago with no expectations of the property. The first year would receive 4 stars but the second year we couldn’t leave fast enough. The pool had black mold which they resurfaced and it was promising that we had stumbled across a stable living community. As renovations continued it was clear this round of improvement was not about current tenants as it was more about injecting face value to an unsuspecting new tenant. During the non emergency cosmetic renovations they boarded up everyone’s back patio door to do construction in a haphazard manner. Village and Apartments strikes me as a rather charming place to live, offering a pleasant blend of community and comfort. Great apartments. It is an older building, but the apartments are very nicely updated. The manager is often busy, but she's very sweet and takes care of things quickly. The maintenance staff is awesome, they work very hard and are always on-time and communicate what they're doing and when. The amenities are really great also, we love the rec-center and gym. Absolutely reccomend.

The manager, Debbie Wallice, if that is actually her true name, is one of the most unpleasant people I have come across. She asks inappropriate questions about one's personal life. She entered my apartment without my permission or a 24 hour notice, which is required by law, and then called me at work to complain that my dog almost attacked her. When I asked if he got out, she told me "no," it was when she entered my residence (illegally). I informed her, that he was doing his job protecting. The
