The Docks

I was very fortunate to have lived here. Being in the military with a fast moving lifestyle to come home to a great apartment to slow things down was amazing. Adam the building manager would address my concerns within a timely manner so I always felt heard. The maintenance team was amazing being in a new building I rarely had issues but when I did I put in a service request and it was fulfilled within the week. I am grateful to the team at the docks for their constant flexibility and patience. I would highly recommend the docks to anyone looking for a place to live in the new london area.

My lease is up and they are trying to jack up my rent by $400 a month. Also, this complex is on Bank St right across from fire dept. I get woke up in the middle of the night almost every night from sirens. Do not rent here!

My wife and I applied. Good service from the staff. There is a probation office across the street, though. A few hours after we applied, we noticed the apartment is directly across the street from a probation office. We sent the staff an email asking to withdraw our application and at first they said no, but later on they refunded us. We’re out of state and didn’t have a chance to thoroughly explore the area. Full disclosure- I love probation offices and the great work they do. I just don’t want to live right next to one.

Thing were fine a few months. Now I have a heavy stomping neighbor above me and I hear every step they take! The ceiling is thin and with a heavy walker your unit walls will shake, so be aware of that. Starting at 6AM and waking me up into the night at 2AM! My sleep and peace in my home have been taken from me. I have received no real help in the matter! Nothing has changed in weeks. Just stuck in this situation.

My son is moving to the docks soon. He chose this place over many because of its modern and sophisticated design. Stein less steel appliances and washer and dryer in the unit was the key factor for his choice. Also, internet comes with it!
