I’ve had a really positive experience living at Channel Family of Apartment Homes in Hanahan. From the moment I moved in, the staff has been welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful. The leasing team made the move-in process smooth and stress-free, and they’ve always been quick to respond whenever I’ve had questions. One thing I really appreciate is how well the property is maintained. The grounds are kept clean, the landscaping looks great, and maintenance requests are handled promptly. It’s clear that the team takes pride in keeping the community comfortable and enjoyable for residents. The location is also a huge plus. I am not one to write reviews, but I definitely feel like this apartment complex deserves one. Being in the military, I had to move across the country, and my military friends recommended to look at a bunch of places in Park Circle/Daniel Island; therefore, Channel Family was not on my radar and WOW, that was a mistake. After touring 4 different apartments in aforementioned areas and not being too confident/comfortable/uneasy with them, another friend recommended this place and I had the BEST experience here by far. This was largely due to the guys in the leasing office, specifically Alec and another gentleman that worked in the office behind Alec. Leasing office staff were very kind and available to answer questions. Plenty of amenities and services. I was a regular at the Brew coffee shop.

The views here are gorgeous, the pool is kept relatively clean for how busy it is, and the front office workers are generally kind and accommodating. Valet trash is a joke, more money is spent on looking instagrammable than actually improving the complex, and rules are not enforced for much of anything. I enjoyed living here, but there were some quick and easy fixes that would have made the experience so much better. The resident events were fantastic and definitely gear these apartments toward younger millennials and gen Z-ers.
