ACE Preferred Inspections (Now Charleston Home Inspection)

We had a home inspection performed by Zach courtesy of the buyers in the process of buying our house. He showed up 45 minutes early while we were trying to finish getting everyone out of the house. Zach decided to tell the buyers our windows were "fogging" because we had SILVER curtains to keep the sun out of our room. Dont believe me because that's actually ridiculous? I agree. I have pictures as proof, unfortunately. He then proceeded to allegedly tell the buyers it can cause mold based on buyer's realtor and our realtor it sounded like he pushed them to have us replace the windows or get a contractor. House knowledge aside, why would you see SILVER and automatically think: "Yeah, thats fog!" You can even see the curtain folded back in the picture!! Right window. We had to go out of

This was the third time we have used ACE Preferred Inspections. First time was during our new build construction for the rough in, then prior to our closing, and recently prior to our one year. We have great piece of mind knowing our house repairs were addressed and we have a good home. Unfortunately, we know too many ppl that are fighting with their builder to get things done correctly and having your own independent inspection done, is worth every penny and allows a constructive conversation with the builder. Patrick Was great and thorough. Arrived early and was professional.
