Springville Mill Apartments

I’ve lived here for about two and a half years. To be fair, the affordable pricing for a pet-friendly building is a major plus, and the apartments themselves are genuinely beautiful. Like anywhere, tenants can be hit or miss, so I tend to keep to myself. Unfortunately, the biggest issue with this complex is the maintenance staff. At first you might think, “It can’t be that bad,” especially since many of them also live on the property…..but it truly is. The level of unprofessionalism and lack of effort is consistently disappointing. It’s common to overhear other residents regularly complaining about unfinished, sloppy, or missed maintenance work. Springville Mill Apartments has a racist member of staff. While on site management has been notified, upper management keeps this member of their maintenance staff employed. This staff member has openly, on more than one occasion, used the N word to describe a coworker. He has said this in front of my young child. I had to explain to my young child how horrible that word is when he asked me what it ment. My child had never heard this word before. This same staff member has actively harassed residents many times. He has cornered myself and my family and harassed us. He is a hate filled person that needs to go, but is being protected by upper management. EDIT: I've reached out to the regional manager via the property manager when this first happened. It's not easy to live so close to others but I honestly don't think I could find a better, cleaner, more friendly place to live. If there is ever an issue, their maintenance department is fast, efficient and so kind. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for an apartment. They make it feel like family here!!!!
