Rockbridge At Royal Oaks

We rented a home in Rockbridge for a year and it convinced us that we’d never, ever, ever buy a home in this particular neighborhood. The homes in the new section of Rockbridge are slab homes and ours in particular was poorly built and the entire home would shake and sway with every gust of wind. Always very alarming in inclement weather. The streets in the new section of Rockbridge are unfinished and therefore uneven / bumpy to drive on. We personally found the HOA to be quite heavy-handed, putting you on notice for what we considered small issues. We received formal notice from the HOA that our yard had “excessive weeds” without any photo evidence or definitions. HOA did not clarify or resolve our dispute of this. Great labor day fun in the water. Thanks sister Chantay for the invite!! We had a ball!! The food was great too.

Neighborhood is clean and the pool is great for adults and little kids. Have lived here for 2years and the neighbors are wonderful.
