Riverpark Apartments

Four years here before moving out, spanning two ownership groups — Equity Residential and Fairfield, who took over in late 2024. Fairfield is a clear upgrade — they ditched the forced Comcast subscription, upgraded the package room with a new access and notification system, and have amenity renovations in the works. Utilities are submetered, and noise was acceptable. The downsides: package theft persists despite the new system. Exterior doors are often unsecured, and fire alarms go off more than they should. Units are showing their age (original 2008 appliances and cheap flooring), largely thanks to Equity's neglect. If you move in, hold out for a renovated unit — some are being re-listed unrenovated. My unit didn't have AC, but AC ports were available in both bedrooms — however the break

I had the pleasure of touring the community. New management is working strides to better the community and it's engagement with the residents. The ladies in the front office were both very energetic and engaging. The tour was fun. When returning from my tour I was able to have interaction with the Community Manager Rick. The location is great and the staff are even better!

Been here more than 3 years, under 2 ownership for community. Fairfield (new) is an upgrade, and has improved on security, cleanliness and also new mail room security system (which helps with missing packages). Maintainence is also very helpful, specially, Rey and Ian!

I was at river park for two years, the first year my experience was amazing with Equity. But the second year under Fairfield my experience was an absolute nightmare, I was getting charged $200 dollars a month for my sewers charges since May. Somehow it took all the way until September to correct this, additionally I wasn't reimbursed until the management finally changed in October/November 6 months later, this is a rather specific issue, but I can't help but feel its something that could be corrected in the matters of a week or two, I had to go down constantly asking for updates. To be fair to river park the management has changed since this happened, and is not a reflection of the other employees who are very helpful and friendly.

Honestly the only perk about living here is the location which you can easily go to other apartments around the area. There is constant theft of packages that the office does nothing about, there are car break ins, slashed car tiers, stolen bikes, random charges on your rent that have no explanation and the maintenance is terrible managed. Elevators are constantly down with no explanation or reasoning. They may tell you that everything is fixed and “fine” but it’s just not reality. Also for how much you pay, the quality is not there. If you are looking at this place, I would find another apartment complex.
