Prairie Pines at The Ridge

Last night at midnight, my whole entire apartment just went black. I called Maintenance and he came right over. I got excellent service from him. We called the electric company and they said everything was good on their side. They gave us advice. He went down and check to see if the issue that they thought that was happening with the breaker system outside next to the meters. Thank you, Prairie Pines for the excellent service. I called Maintenance and they came right over.

Living at Prairie Pine Apartments has been extremely frustrating due to ongoing maintenance neglect. My dishwasher broke and it took weeks to get it fixed. This is not an isolated issue — any maintenance request, even very simple ones that would take 10 minutes at most, consistently takes 2–3 weeks before anyone shows up. The most frustrating part is the lack of urgency and accountability from the office. When you pay rent on time every month, you expect basic appliances and maintenance issues to be handled promptly — not ignored for weeks. This level of delay is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of respect for residents’ time and comfort. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values responsive management or timely maintenance.

Leslie has failed to respond to my email requesting information related to their attempt to charge me $850 for painting without any itemized receipts, proof of claims regarding painting needed (I never even hung a single photo let alone put even a thumb tack in the wall) Being accused of smoking (I don’t smoke) This place thinks they can shake people down without justifying their claims but you have rights as a tenant and landlords can’t just make up charges at move out to collect more money. They need proof. I will be leaving a 1 star review everyday until this is resolved. In the meantime- if you like hallways that smell like pot, assaults taking place by other residents and domestic violence spilling into hallways, dog feces everywhere, zero snow removal and terrible management then t

Terrible and lazy maintenance. Had a dryer that took 2 months to fix. Called them once a week for a status update and they told me they are “working on it”. In the 3301 apartment there are the same lightbulbs that are never been changed in the two years I use to live there and there are the same massive chunks of paint missing. My move out fee was $800 and that’s after they took my $500 deposit. All they had to do was paint the apartment because there were “ permanent stains” that didn’t exist NEVER move there. There was dog poop everywhere during the winter time might I add🤣800/ a month rent MAX this place is worth EDIT TO THE RESPONSE TO PRAIRIE PINES I have told the front desk ladies multiple times about the issues above when I lived there. I moved in just a week ago so this review is based on a short period of time here. I chose Prairie Pines at the Ridge because of its proximity to work, relatively new construction, and fair rental rates. My corner unit is very nice, comfortable and bright. However is was not clean when I first moved in and there were several damages that needed to be addressed right away. Property manager Amanda has impressed me with her hospitality and patience with me. I’m kind of fussy about some things. She is genuine and has been a pleasure to work with. However she is often alone in the office and is multitasking while assisting me. This property really should have two people like her in the office at all times.
