Pepperwood Apartments

I have lived here for almost 2 years and have enjoyed it here. My apartment is close quiet, although in the summer I can hear people at the pool. The complex is well maintained. The office staff is very nice and maintenance is friendly and responds to work orders in a timely manner. I recommend this place, although parking in some parts of the complex can be an issue.

Horrible place to live. Did 3, 1 year leases and each year it got worse. You pay a lot for almost no amenities, constant parking lot construction (where they will indeed have you towed without offering any additional parking options during construction). My car was broken into three times and the office staff told me that “it’s a good thing because thieves target the nicer places”. They claim they have security patrolling but I never saw them after I signed my second lease. The lights never worked outside. They charged me almost $1000 in damages, noting the carpet was worn down. Of course it was I lived there 3 years and they install extremely cheap carpet. Office staff is extremely rude. I’ve lived here a few years now and I can say I LOVE IT HERE!!! The office staff is amazing and always makes me feel welcomed. I love that they know me and my kiddos by face. They are always super helpful and can answer all of my questions I may have. The maintenance crew is great as well and I can count on things to get fixed as needed. I did opt in to the car port for parking and I highly advise ppl do so that way you’re guaranteed a parking stop because parking can get a little hectic. The pool is small but it gets the job done as there is enough seating for everyone and a propane grill that can be used as a first come first serve basis! Only been here a month every thing was going good, nice cozy apartment quiet know loud noise. Come outside to find my license plate had been stolen off my car, the parking lot is extremely dark so this made it very easy to be stolen without being seen. Wish there was more lighting and security to patrol the parking lot. Not happy about this at all. We work to hard and pay to much rent for our property not to be safe

The amenities were outdated, poorly maintained, and often not clean, making them essentially unusable. The apartments themselves are significantly overpriced for what you receive. Parking was a constant challenge, and the complex often felt unsafe due to questionable business practices. The office staff consistently came across as rude and unsympathetic to tenant concerns. Upon move-out, they charged for damages without providing any proof, which is extremely dishonest and unfair. The exterior of the buildings is visibly neglected, and noise from neighbors was a frequent disturbance. Overall, the condition and management of the property do not reflect the high rental costs.
