My introduction of the new year from the new landlord.. peek properties, was a warning of eviction on Jan. 5th when I paid off the balance of my rent. I lived in the building since 2012 and seen three or four property managers come and go but this is the first time I have received a email that seems more like it should have been sent to a squatter than a renter who has paid off the rent every month for the last 14 years without one warning of eviction if I paid off a rising rent 2 or 3 days late. I have been working in law enforcement since 9/11 and one thing I learned is when you're dealing with most people that have bad days or weeks but overall are decent people, they don't necessarily need to be whacked on the wrist to be taught a lesson. I want to put 0 start but i cant Peek its a joke... from the day 1 we having problems with them, its always something new They have a big infection of mouses and the just dont care The supers are super nice and helpful erick and junior but peek thinks they are octopus so basically they try to do what the can .. you call to the managers and the office and they lie to you or the just ignore you! They don't even care.. they charge you fees for NOT REASON ... if you have the opportunity to rent with them IGNORE and thanks me later 🫶🏼

Since they took over my building at the beginning of the year heat is basically non existent in my apartment… currently it’s 11:23pm ,4 degrees outside my living room radiator is off and the bedroom radiator is luke warm I have a thermometer in my room is reading 60 degrees. I’ve got a newborn baby 6 days old and a 3 year old in here freezing… will be calling the state in the morning this is ridiculous! I’m in 106 S Harrison. UPDATE: Thank you for handling this issue swiftly the heat is much better !

This company took over my building. The previous app we paid rent on was shut down before the 25th of December. Then, physical letters of them only came to the building only came the 1st. Their app didn’t even work until the 5th. Now it is the 7th, only two business days, and are sending eviction filing notices and late payment fees. They said they are rolling over past rent payments made from our previous company, but have not been able to do that yet. This is ridiculous.

My bathroom walls are still messed up from the leak is had to wait 2.5 days to get them fixed. He said he will be here Monday to fix my walls and of course, I didn't hear anything. The hallways stay dirty, I've been seeing the same dirty two cups for the past two weeks the carpets are dirty and hasn't been vacuum in a long time. The laundry room is disgusting. This place is a joke but they are constantly going up on the rent!!! the water always has to be shut off because it's always an emergency. When ms Sutton was the owner of this building we didn't have these problems
