Maury Home Inspections

My experience with Maury Home Inspections has been delightful and painless. Starting from Courtney, (the manager) was responsive and efficient when coordinating the scheduling and the process. The licensed home inspector Eric arrived prior to the scheduled time. He was thorough, professional, helpful and patient while addressing my questions. He submitted the report on time as he said he would. I have recommended Eric to friends who were in process of purchasing a home; and they were thrilled about his service. I highly recommend them!

Maury Home Inspections is AMAZING! Courtney was quick to respond to both calls and text messages on a Saturday to help me scheudle a home inspection the following morning. Our inspector was Eric and he was OUTSTANDING. Extremely descriptive and helpful and his report was just as detailed. I wouldn't want to get an inspection by anybody else.

We had Scott inspect our house and we was very thorough and really impressed me with his knowledge of houses. A house has a bunch of separate systems and characteristics and to be an expert about houses, broadly, you need to know a lot. Scott know it. Further, Scott goes beyond the regular service and allows his customers to contact him, for as long as they own the house that he inspected, to ask him questions about various aspects of the house. If something isn't working or if you are going to do some DIY work, or if a contractor did some work and you're not sure everything is right, you can contact Scott to find out how your house is put together and how everything should be working. Scott and Courtney Maury are top notch ! Phone calls are answered day and night to schedule inspections . I have used both Scott and Eric as inspectors and they are very thorough and give a great on site education . They both answered all of our questions . Their inspection report is the most detailed I have ever seen . We received the report by the next morning . Very knowledgable ! Experts in their field ! Highly recommend them !

We did a 'walk and talk' pre-inspection with Eric, and we were very pleased with the quality of the inspection. I'm sure this isn't the cheapest inspection service, but you get what you pay for. Eric had an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of the housing stock in the area, down to details like the relative density of the framing timber according to the decade of construction and the timeframe in which storm sewers were separated from sanitary sewers. He went through every aspect of the home in comprehensive detail, noting not just what the flaws were, but also what the implications were and various options for repair/replacement/remediation. Based on our notes that we took from the inspection, we've got a list of not just what's broken in the house right now, but also what's close to
