I had a very disappointing experience with this apartment complex. I verbally agreed on a specific apartment that I really liked and submitted an application for that exact unit. I was 100% sure everything was moving forward as discussed. We agreed on a specific move-in date, and the leasing office was informed about my planned timeline. However, after some time, while visiting friends, I found out that the apartment we had agreed on had already been rented to someone else. On top of that, the paperwork later reflected a different move-in date for the following month — something that was never clearly communicated or agreed upon. Going on my 3rd year here watching management teams come and go. The team in place now as well as the longtime maintenance crew have accomplished more than previous teams in a much shorter time. The new manager is community oriented and if you pass by her on property she takes the time to inquire how you are doing. The ability to approach the office knowing you will be heard is new for this place and that is important to this resident. I hope the current team makes this there home cause they have made me feel at home.

My experience has been amazing, I would especially like to thank Natalie for her truly outstanding customer service. From the day our showing was scheduled all the way through move-in, she made the entire process easy, welcoming, and smooth. Her attentiveness, warmth, and dedication to making us feel at home truly stood out. We are still getting fully moved in, but we already love it here. Everyone is moving out! We will be soon! New management is horrible. These apartments were great before new management took over, constantly improving and making this feel like a community, even hosting community events. Now, maintenance is a joke, tap water is not safe. Boiler needs serious repairs and they shut off your water every other week. Power shuts off if the wind blows the wrong direction. Recreation areas are unkept, however constantly we are receiving emails pushing the blame on the residents, and the children that live here. active US Coast Guard w extensive research online from out of state about the complex before moving in. Clear false advertisement and very suspicious mostly positive Google Reviews. The pictures are NOT ACCURATE. Grounds and complex less than adequately maintained. Nothing like “Resort living”, very run down. Management changed several times within the few weeks I was dealing with leasing office. Still disputing false advertising on Sanalwood Managments part. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at ALL COSTS!
