Barkley Square Apartments

Great value! 👏👏👏👍Got a furnished 1bd for 3k for 3 month lease, good quality, no smell, no noise, no annoying hosts, ac, heater smart tv bed, couch and even microwave and pictures etc., around 60m square, a balcony! where can you get such place for this money AND for such short lease period in mountain view? Utilities included! 😁

I and my wife have been living here for just over 4 years, and the experience has been excellent. José, who has been our chief maintenance guy that whole time, promptly and effectively resolves any and all concerns that come up; I've sometimes even had him at my door less than 10 minutes after putting in a request, and he always knows what he's doing. Omar, our property manager, has been responsive, reasonable, and courteous; and, like José, he jumps on problems promptly. Rent is on the low end for the area, but we haven't had to compromise on anything that matters. We have parking for our vehicle, reasonably ample street parking for guests, air conditioning (though not all units have it), and pretty reliable internet and electricity. My partner called in advance and was told we could stop by anytime before 5pm to tour apartments. We arrived at 3:15pm, but the office was empty. Despite calling multiple times and waiting 20 minutes, no one answered. The experience was very frustrating.

I loved living here! The apartment was beautiful and had tons of natural light, the pool was a lovely perk, and the complex was always well maintained (I especially loved all the flowers!) We had a minor issue with the smoke detector once and the problem was resolved efficiently, and everyone we interacted with was friendly. It's also conveniently located, right across the street from Safeway which meant we never had to go far to go grocery shopping. :) Overall, a wonderful place to call home!

These apartments are wonderful. The units are in great repair and very clean. The grounds are beautiful. Managed exceptionally well, the staff are all courteous and respond promptly to requests. It's been a quiet, pleasant community even though there are lots of children and pets living here. I recommend these apartments without reservation.
