Badlands Apartments

I've always liked living here, but since the new IMM management company came (replacing Lutheran Social Services) in the spring of 2021, it has improved exponentially. I love my apartment, the underground optional parking, and how clean everything is. The heat and electricity are very reasonable and there is an elevator! In addition, there is a great program to reduce your rent if you are an essential employee in the city such as a teacher, police officer, etc. It is a great location and quiet. UPDATE: They are really nice until you move out. Then they will try to unjustly charge you for everything down to the batteries in the smoke alarms and push the limit of what would be normal living over the length of time you are there. Mover beware.

I have lived in an apartment here for three years. As a faculty member at the college, the location is perfect for me to walk to work every day. Several units here are held by faculty and staff at the college. The building is very quiet for the most part, and each apartment gets a marked parking space outside. As of April 2021, IMM has taken over as property management, and they have been very responsive to issues in the building. While I do like this apartment, there are some downsides. During spring and summer rainstorms, the underground garage doesn't always drain properly, and that can cause the fire alarms to go off (though this hasn't happened in a while). In the winter, some sidewalks are quickly cleaned, but others are left to accumulate snow and ice which makes the walk to work c

Will definitely try to rob you of your deposit no matter how thoroughly you follow the cleaning list. Landlord is so hard to get ahold of, very loud apartment, JUST LIKE ANY OTHER APARTMENT TRYING TO ROB YOU! If you ever need anything it’s weeks or never to get a response.

The Williston State College Apartments are a great place to live. Ever since they switched management companies to IMM, the staff is very well organized and very responsive when issues arise. Also been noticing a lot of improvement and small fixes around the apartment complex as well.

I enjoy the location as it is very close to the college where I work. IMM has been great to work with since taking over managing the complexes a few months ago. For example, the work order I placed was taken care of within a day. I also like that we can text the office with any questions. The online portal where we can submit work orders, pay rent, etc is a welcome addition with IMM taking over. Thanks for making this a good place to live.
