Wylder Square Apartments

Absolutely dreadful experience living at Wylder Square. This place has gone downhill fast and the management seems completely indifferent. The hallways consistently smell like straight-up urine… not a faint odor, but the kind of pungent piss smell that hits you the second you step off the elevator and follows you all the way to your door. Multiple times I’ve had to step over fresh dog poop left in the hallways like it’s normal. Clearly no one is enforcing pet policies and the cleaning crew is either nonexistent or just doesn’t care. On top of the disgusting common areas, the office hits you with random “fees” every few months with zero explanation. We've been living at Wylder Square for 9 months now and we absolutely love it! This is a brand new, super clean and well-maintained community. The amenities are excellent and the management truly cares about the residents. Whenever something needs fixing — whether it’s the elevator, parking gate, or an appliance like the washer or dishwasher — the maintenance team fixes it the same day or very quickly. The staff in the office are incredibly kind, helpful and professional. Special thank you to Cynthia — you’re amazing! The building is spotless, the facilities are great, and one of the best features is the covered/multi-level parking. It’s also very peaceful and quiet here, with respectful residents and great management that organizes nice events for everyone. Amazing place to live at a fair

I’m sharing this to help future residents make an informed decision. Upon move-out from Wylder Square, I was assessed multiple charges which I did not believe was fair. While I understand and accept the standard non-refundable cleaning fee disclosed in the Community Policies, several additional charges felt excessive and inconsistent with the inspection history. For example, I was charged for toilet seat replacement, even though the toilet seats were not new at the time of move-in. This was not damage caused during my tenancy, yet the replacement cost was still passed on to me at move-out. Additionally, the move-out report primarily documented minor drywall anchor holes, light wall scuffing, and localized wear, yet broader paint-related charges were applied. I enjoyed touring and would recommend the building for anyone else looking in that area. It’s tranquil and it has an eclectic and fun design. I think if there was a floorplan I wanted during the time I wanted to move in, I would have applied. The reason it’s not 5 stars is cause their communication is glitchy. The leasing agent emailed me that my tour is double booked and the texts from the building still confirmed my original time. I called the building and then it directed me to text and then I got put in touch with an AI bot. The touchscreen TV was super cool. They seem high tech but also glitchy high tech is super annoying. I toured this facility a few weeks ago and it's beautiful (like going to a little and charming hotel). I'm still debating which floor plan I will get, but based on the newness of the building and size I would say the plans are fairly priced. I have never used a stackable washer and dryer and they do paper relatively smaller. For any current tenants did any of your one bedroom apartments come with full size units? If not, are you able to wash and dry a fluffy duvet or comforter without any issues?
