Wisconsin Title and Closing Services

I bought a house 2 years ago. Wisconsin Title was my title company. A water bill was missed, I got the seller to pay the bill. I like to say that I got the seller to pay the water bill because my title company (Wisconsin Title) did not help. The entire bill wasn’t paid like I thought it was so the remainder was out on my tax bill. I called Wisconsin Title to help, they pointed the finger at the sellers title company, Attorneys Title, who pointed the finger right back at Wisconsin Title. So the final result is both Wisconsin Tite and Attorneys Title are blaming each other while I sit here and pay for their mistake. A business's credibility is rooted in its word, and Wisconsin Title and Closing Services demonstrated a complete lack of integrity. It was a was deeply disappointing due to their deceptive business practices, complete rude behavior and their failure to honor their commitments. When we encountered some incorrect documents during our closing, an employee assured us that it would be resolved before submitting our paperwork back at the office. I didn't want to sign the paperwork till it was fixed but they assured me they would fix it. Writing down on a sticky note what the correct information was an placing it on the doc. They totally screwed up my closing. Don’t use this place. I spent $700 in attorney fees to get the closing sheet accurate after many phone calls myself. Now my tax obligation verses my x husbands is 56 verses 44 for him on a 50/50 split of assets on marital settlement statement. This has been a nightmare! Stay away

Just refinanced and closed here. Our refinance process was delayed for so long due to the whole COVID mess, we completely forgot not to have work done on the house - we had new counter tops installed. When it came to closing, it came up and our bank wanted to stop the closing. WTCS worked with us and the bank and were so patient with us as we contacted the installers who provided us with a lien waiver. Thank you so much!
