Winsdor Hills Apartments

For the price paid for the apartments, I expected a well-maintained place. Upon moving in the apartment was very dirty. The repairs were not done at the move-in date. Baseboards have been painted, but hair was painted into them. The apartment has been moved in with the circuit always being triggered from the microwave. That’s just a normal thing that we’re expected to be living with. The newer floors that have put in throughout the levels were not properly installed. When people walk the squeaking is so loud it wakes me up. Walls are thin, and I can hear conversations on the floors below and above. I have a dishwasher that still has not been appropriately repaired. When I put in the request, the maintenance crew said that I should just put the soap in a little dish. That didn’t work… The w

I LOVE this place!!! Kimberly at the leasing office is the sweetest. The leasing office is so incredibly responsive and quick, both with phone calls and e-mails. Maintenance requests are typically taken of the following day. I had an emergency maintenance request and they had sent someone to arrive at my apartment in less than an hour to fix the problem. Upon moving in, the apartment was so clean. Neighbors are friendly and I feel so safe walking around at night. Even if you come home late at night from classes, it's a guarantee your mail is going to still be there. This is a lovely place. The views are stunning. Regarding the repair service, Jim did a great job and I am satisfied, but the issue still exists and needs more time to be fully inspected and repaired. The flush keeps running during the day and night, leaking water, and the tank keeps emptying and refilling over and over again. This problem cannot be seen in just 5 minutes, because the time between the leakage and the tank refilling is about 30 minutes (between two flushes). I hope you can follow up and fix it accordingly. Do NOT live here. Windsor Hills has been one of the most frustrating rental experiences I’ve ever had. The office staff is borderline incompetent, rarely providing clear or consistent answers and often giving contradictory information. Renewing our lease was a nightmare, and even now I still haven’t gotten a straight response. Ultimately, my roommates and I decided to move out not just because of the price, which is ridiculously high, but because the overall quality of the property is incredibly disappointing. Yes, the pool and yard are nice, but that’s about the only redeeming factor. The gym is outdated and barely functional. I have lived here for the past two years of graduate school at Radford. I have never had one complaint with this place. The maintenance staff and front office have been nothing but super kind to me the two years that I lived here. The community is absolutely gorgeous with the views, the pool is nice, the gym is decent, and the apartment I had was a one bedroom on the first floor and it was so cute and I got so many compliments when guests came over. Everybody was more than helpful at all times if I ever needed anything. I only had one minor maintenance issue in the two years I lived here and they came over and fixed it immediately. This is an absolute great place to live that is not super filled with college students and has a good mix of students and adults. It is in a great spot to downt
