I paid this company to do a title search on the home I was selling. I inherited the home from my late father. There were liens on the home From his hospital bills. This company received the payoff amounts from the hospital and when they drew up my paperwork to close on the home they listed the wrong payoff amounts. I agreed to sell the home and signed off on closing paperwork stating I was receiving a profit of $36,495. After they recorded the sale of the home With the courts, Brooks Title realized they had entered the wrong Amounts for each payoff. 30 minutes after I received paperwork stating the sale Had gone through and been recorded I received a phone call from the owner, Emily Brooks.
