Wilshire Apartments

I really wanted to love this place, but I would not advise anyone to move here. There is a lack of communication from management. They got rid of the kind human who worked in the leasing office and replaced her with an AI bot named Denise who never follows up on my work orders or questions. I haven’t had hear for three days and have yet to have anyone from maintenance or the apartment reach out, UNACCEPTABLE. No one has called to give an update, my apartment is freezing. We also went without hot water a few weeks ago, and there was terrible communication about the issue and no human to speak to about it. There is also a terrible rodent problem. I’ll be seeking legal representation because I pay my rent on time every month, they should hold their end of the contract and provide consistent

We moved in about 5 or so months ago, and the move-in process was easy. Thanks to Lajoy. However, the storage room wasn't cleaned out, and we had to wait about 3 weeks for that to happen. We also had to go days without hot water. Handled with little care. Lastly, there is a mouse issue. I didn't know there were mouse issues, but it's not fun. There is little response to that as well. The exterminator was no help. We want to outsource, but we're afraid we won't be reimbursed. The space is nice, a little dated, but nice, and the neighborhood is quiet and cute. Update: now I have no heat. And they are trying to tell me it’s the batteries in the thermometer. Well I put in the batteries….still no heat. 63 degrees in my apartment. Save yourself the headache. Don’t move here!

Me and my family just moved in and we have been welcomed by the best property manager Lajoy who has been very helpful before and since moving in. Very clean property and quiet. We are very pleased with our new apartment. Thank you.

I really enjoy living here. Joy is great, and the best property manager I've ever dealt with. She really cares about this community and all the residents that make it up. She also helped me adjust to the new changes and policies, and in general is just refreshing to interact with. The property itself is neat and clean. The whole staff is great, they deserve 5 stars!

Just moved in a few weeks ago. Me, the Hubby, & the Pup love it. Nice size apartment , quiet community, off street parking, & fur baby friendly. It doesn't have all of the bells & whistles as some of the newer built apartments, but it does check off everything on our list...hardwood floors in the living/dining spaces, carpet in the bedrooms, balcony, washer & dryer in the apartments (compact). Busline in front of the property & 5 minutes from markets, shopping, & the Metro. Also the application/move in process was very easy & without issue with the help of the property manager Ms. L. Robinson. We are happy with our new home.
