Willows Apartments

My husband and I lived in this place for 9 year and absolutely loved our experience here. The neighborhood was great (well, as great as downtown Lancaster can be), the manager, Jeff, though rough around the edges, was extremely reasonable and easy to work with, the maintenance staff was friendly and great, and the apartments were extremely peaceful and homey with all the trees and the squirrels. The only issue we had was how old the apartments were. Because of this, we always had cockroaches and things were prone to needing to be fixed.

The place looked decent. I spoke to manager Jeff. He encouraged me to go by the office to show me the apartments. When I get there, he just pulled out a pice of paper, rambled on about prices. I then asked if he can show me a unit. He goes on about requirements, and seemed agitated. I just told him he wasn't very nice, and I was no longer interested. Very unprofessional, and rude. Too bad.

Manager Jeff Powers is a nice guy. I like the gym and the media room upstairs in the office building. Nice area and lot of trees in the complex. I haven't moved in yet so I can't give more than 3 stars.

The apartments are ok the owner and the workers here including security are creepy. I’ve been here for 2 years and still feel pretty uncomfortable. The gym is basically a joke and the owner is weird. My wife will not even go pay rent if she is alone.

Love living here quiet, clean, and safe. Repairs are always done timely and rental rates here are very reasonable. Moving out, because of new job in another city.
