I have also contacted the real estate licensing department in Richmond and I had my entire refund of 750.00 back in less than 24 hours. They tried that with me and my husband at Cove harbor

This has to be the worst property management I've ever had the displeasure of applying to. First off, the process alone took over 3 weeks just so they could deny us. I should've known something was sketchy when the property manager wouldn't answer the phone after taking my $200 money order, although she said she'd have an answer within 48 hours, but I tried to give her the benefit of a doubt. Midway through the process, a new lady took over, claiming that I didn't submit the documents that surely enough was emailed had she actually checked. Made us send references then denied us immediately! I have no judgements, no criminal record, no evictions and make over 3x the rent. I checked this place out today. It was very nice, and clean. The manager was so professional and super nice and understandable(i had a toddler with me.) They had multiple play areas for the kids and a pool, they even have a separate pool for the little kids, It was very nice.

My husband and I put in an application for The Great Oak (3 bedroom) a month ago. We even paid the $100. We were told they have 4 apartments they had to flip. Soon as those are done we would have are credit ran. We would check in every other week to see the progress. It was the same answer no not yet. Ok cool I get it it takes time. The last time my husband checked in . The office manager stated she would run it and we would receive an answer. Guess what it’s been 3 weeks later no answer. No our credit wasn’t ran, because I received notification when something happens with our credit. I more upset because you took our $100 and did nothing no credit check or no update about anything.

Poor management. There’s always someone new managing this complex every 3-7 months. The car theft rate is extremely high and they don’t even care to put surveillance cameras out here, all they do is put a letter on your door warning you that people are breaking into cars. We keep our home clean as a whistle and still seem to find roaches creeping within the cracks of the door, ventilation from on top of the house and even from the tub drain. very bad customer service when needed. If i could give -5 stars I would. another thing I would like to conclude is how dangerous it is coming in and out of the complex due to the cars parked down the road.. creating a big blind spot for upcoming traffic. it would be very convenient if there were safety mirrors appointing both directions coming of the r
