I have a good friend who contacted me to look over some issues they were having regarding move out charges for carpet replacement with zero justification for the charges. I decided to check these reviews out to see if what they were saying is on par with other resident's experiences. First, it appears if you even consider having a pet, if the thought even crosses your mind, if you happen to even pet or look at a dog or cat, you will be getting charged for carpet replacement. This just isn’t reality — the whole point of living in a rented apartment is to… live in it. Dog or not. If you do not want dog urine on your carpets, do not allow dogs on your premises? Simple. This is a wonderful place to live. I lived here with my fiance for 2 years and he was here for a few years before that. These apartments are very comfortable to live in. Everything is pristine and updated. Any maintenance needed was very prompt and the landlord was very responsive and friendly. The pool is a huge plus as well. I practically lived there during the summer. I also really liked out balcony and it's kind of fun to drive through and see what all the other tenants do with their balcony/patio. Moveout was fine, we did get charged for a hole my cat clawed in the carpet but it wasn't outrageous. I wish they would've applied the months of pet rent we paid to that charge but they did give us a discount for our second cat's rent so such is life. We didn't get charged other than that an

Overall just not very supportive or helpful management. Would give less stars if I could since we owe them over $2000 for carpet replacement after only living there 1 year 🙃 Edit: the management is also super petty and if you have any pets they will make large claims such as the response below. Like I said previously, if you rent here do so with caution especially if you are an animal lover.

I'm surprised by the negative reviews here, but I don't have a pet so those issues didn't concern me. I lived here for almost a year and it was the nicest, most affordable place I ever rented. It is at the corner of town so there's not much around. Aside from that, my unit was spacious and quiet. The gym is good as apartment gyms go, though it's a tad small. Management was very good and prompt about resolving any issues that needed to be taken care of. It's true that they might charge a lot for cleaning for the move out if it's not taken care of. But I cleaned up the place myself on move-out and wasn't charged a lot on anything, though there was one minor charge I didn't expect. REPLY TO WEST END REPLY: Firstly, cabbage?? This is the same stunt you pulled when I was there, suggesting the smell was “Korean food” after I shared that I’m half Korean. This is most likely CHEAP FOREIGN CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS made with harmful chemicals. 4 OF YOUR EMPLOYEES came to the apartment & EXCLAIMED HOW BAD THE CHEMICAL SMELL WAS after I took my clothes to your office to show you the damage. Your team was shocked & commented on how awful it was to breathe. Hopefully though by reading your reply, potential residents will see how contentious your team is.
