Alvadora Apartments

My wife and I moved here last summer. We have had very few issues with our apartment, but when we have, TieRae in the office has been very helpful and easy to work with, and Mike in maintenance is efficient, a great communicator, and a friendly face. As someone with experience in the service industry, I am grateful for them. Their excellence is uncommon.

I’ve rented since the year 2000 throughout the KC area. I decided to consider Lawrence as an option. The staff at the Alvadora are the most conscientious, helpful and kind people who actually care about the comfort of their residents. It didn’t take me long to choose living here as TieRre/apt mgr and Mike/maintenance mgr expressed at every interaction a genuine willingness to help. I’ve also met a few of the residents who ALL say “you’re going to like it here” and “it’s quiet” and “the people are nice”. Give them a look! You won’t be disappointed.

I have lived here for almost 3 years. It is a terrific place to live. The apartments are spacious, clean and have all the necessary amenities. The grounds are well kept. There is very little noise from neighbors. The greatest selling point however is the local management. They are amazing! They are so prompt with returning calls and/or emails. They are super friendly even when I may have been a bit high maintenance:). The maintenance guys are beyond responsive. It literally seems like as soon as I enter a maintenance request, they are at my door getting it fixed. I highly recommend choosing this apartment complex above all your other choices in Lawrence.

Alvadora Apartments was a nightmare! Maintenance was responsive, however management was the real issue! The way they handled my concerns and issues - whether it was how management handled those complaints, lack of accountability, or a lack of adequate notification/communication issues - was beyond reprehensible, especially when I presented evidence as proof in writing, images, audio, and video! Read in its entirety. Any tenants having problems - DOCUMENT EVERYTHING!!!
