Top Notch Home Inspection

Was looking at buying an older home (1912), had access to a previous inspection report from only a couple weeks ago with few major issues, and decided to get another one out of an abundance of caution. SO glad I did, and so grateful to Tim at Top Notch. Tim found multiple things the previous inspector did not, including the large crack in the foundation and mold in the basement. Tim was early to the inspection, explained everything he found, had a beautiful and easy-to-read report ready for me the afternoon after the morning inspection, and was so thorough. Even got a follow up from the folks who tested the paint for lead to make sure I understood the results. Thanks so much, Top Notch!

We hired Top Notch to do a pre-purchase home inspection. They were timely, friendly, respectful of the property, and yet so thorough! The report was done in less than 24 hours and with beautiful attention to detail. We had them do a sewer scope as well, and it was the clearest and most easily understood sewer scope video we or our agent has seen. Eric and his team provide an excellent service. They took the time to show me what they would be citing in the report and explain what type of follow up we could consider (structural engineer versus contractors, etc.). The report was well organized and easy to understand. It felt wonderful to have all inspections (general, septic, radon testing, etc.) completed on the same day!
