Timber Cove Apartments

Location was not worth all the trouble... The maintenance staff/office staff do not communicate at all, sometimes took days to get to an issue and don't even leave a note if they fix the issue while you're out. At one point, I reported my window was broken (I adopted a stray who had some behavioural issues, I did pay for the window). No communication about the repairs at all until a month later, while I'm working from home, some guy shows up and says he's there to replace the window. I have to wonder whether they would have requested entry if I wasn't home, but that's just conjecture. Plumbing was poor and hasn't been updated in a long time. Hot water was inconsistent, got cold or scalding hot while showering, like someone flushed a toilet. While living there, I had to request maintenance

Great apartments right on the lake! Location is perfect to get downtown Decatur or into Mt. Zion (both within 5 minutes) Staff is always working to keep updating the facilities for the tenants. Of course, the pool is nice perk during the hot summer.

The management here is incredibly responsible. They're quick to respond to any issues, even coming over after hours to help fix things. They also promptly upgrade or replace the room's basic facilities, which is a huge plus. The community is super friendly, making this a perfect place for anyone new to Decatur.

I moved in 5/2023 to 1703-121. At that time chase was the office assistant. he was kind and helpful. Unfortunately I moved in one day before my lease began and I didn’t get an in-person welcome. I agreed for Chase to unlock the unit and leave the keys on the kitchen counter. I signed my lease electronically. I live in Timbercove for one year and six months. & I don’t recommend anyone to live here by all means. Crystal is the property manager and she is one of the most rudest, careless, uninterested, nasty attitude having, ignorant,inconsiderate,mean person you’ll ever meet. As my time here I noticed the mold grows quickly in the bathroom. The exhaust “fan” doesn’t work. They claim to have fixed it but it’s a lost cause to argue the replacement. Timber cove has been a great place to live. The management is great and all of the workers are very nice. Our apartment was clean and kept up when we moved in. We are very happy with it!
