The Sterling Apartments at Kearney

After living at the Sterling for a year I am more than ready to find someone here else to live. They’re a money grab! Units are overpriced and cheaply made. The first week I moved in paint was rubbing off the walls in the bathroom. The faucets water pressure was way too high and very sensitive. Judy and Jodi (old apartment managers) were very easy to communicate with on any issues I had. The new managers make it difficult to communicate. They don’t respond to texts to the office, and whenever I’d go into the office to ask a question I was met with a rude attitude to any questions. It was clear she couldn’t care less about having a conversation with her tenant. And upon move out, don’t expect to get your deposit back! Used to be a 2-star review, updated it to 5 stars. New management is great, always friendly and helpful. Judy is the best property manager I've ever had to deal with. Edit 10/15/24. Every time there is an issue, management and maintenance are always genuinely willing to help to their best ability.

I just moved in after spending way too many years renting from one of the bigger property management companies in town. The Sterling has truly been such an improvement and it really does feel like a community. Management has been accommodating and the communication about routine building maintenance has been on point. The amenities really do make this an elevated living experience. I love coming home to The Sterling!

Currently live at the sterling apartments management previously with Jody and Judy was amazing! Communication was easy even answering the phone or even returning a phone call after leaving a message was good as well! But with new management all those things went down hill can’t ever get someone to answer the phone or even get a phone call back after leaving multiple messages communicating has never been so hard and I think at this point you have to go into the office to even get your point across or be heard! Otherwise apartments are nice just management needs fixing!
