The HighLine Senior Apartments

Went to look at senior housing at this property. Tammy, the property manager took the time to talk for almost an hour. Half of this time was off the clock as I showed up without an appointment. She explained how Section 42 works, showed me around along with showing me an apartment layout. This kindness is much appreciated especially when most of the time trying to get someone to talk to in senior housing is almost impossible as no one hardly returns emails or phone calls. Love my apartment, the view of the golf course, the residents , management is great and so helpful although it changes frequently, Jason was excellent maintainance, so far so good with our new maintenance, The amenities are excellent . I’ve been here since March 2022 and at first the landscaping was not good but it is vastly improved and beautiful so kudos for the improvement. Just one issue baffles me and it is pet urine in the elevator and the hallways. It is an ongoing problem. I have lived in three previous senior apartments and have not experienced this. To be fair management cleans the carpets but the next day fresh urine spots are present. I see no responsibility taken by the pet owners to clean up. Called to get information about apartments. Laura was wonderful to work with! She was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and addressed any concerns I had. She even went out of her way to follow-up to see if there was anything else she could help me with! Excellent experience!

I love it here Ms. Marasha and Mr.Ray are the best they are so sweet. I love our interactions and how they handle day to day business. Ms. Marasha is the sweetest person and she even called once to make sure that I was ok after not seeing me for a week. I have no family here so I thought it was very sweet of her to check on me. I love having her here she's a bit of sunshine on dark days. I feel comfortable knowing Mr. Ray and Ms. Marasha are here, everyone loves them. I also think that they are Blessings to a lot of residents I've found them on occasion while on lunch break just having simple conversations with the residents which is something I've never seen before. 3/8/2023: (***Adding to my previous "review" which was a positive maint. comment) I also want to mention to anyone thinking about moving into this complex, make sure to ask a lot of questions before signing a lease. Ask about safety. Ask about outdoor upkeep/responsibility for pet waste. Ask about increases. Ask about ceiling fans - some people got them but now it's "not in the budget." Ask about golf balls flying into the parking lot from the golf course (and hitting cars, people, pets.) Ask about "smoke-free building" and various smoke smells, especially weekends when management not on site. Ask about noise/children in the building (isn't it a 55+ building?) The "office" gives a lot of "we'll look into it" as a standard answer for questions, concerns, complaints. A person absol
