My parents have lived at the Courts of Avalon for 20+ years and the management team has been accessible and accommodating, for the most part. Over the past few months, getting assistance and a prompt resolution with service requests has become very difficult. They rarely answer the phones and the voicemail cuts off when trying to leave a message. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with John and he provides a follow up when needed. The property manager Erin, on the other hand, is the reason I’m writing this negative review. When I had to contact the office every day for two weeks over the Christmas holidays (emails, phone calls, office visits) regarding the need for the weather stripping to be replaced around the front door, she offered me assistance with having my 86 year old father va
I’ve only been living here for six months and I regret signing my lease. The only thing that’s “luxury” about these apartments is the fact that you have your own garage. Have a maintenance issue? Good luck. The insulation in these $2100+ units is an absolute joke. I’ve made multiple maintenance orders, contacted the leasing office, and corporate to still have the same issue. My HVAC can barely keep my apartment at 65 degrees on a good day. Leasing office has the audacity to send an email reminding residents to “keep their windows closed” to seal heat in. Who really has their window open when it’s 20 below outside? My space heater does more than this sorry excuse for a heating unit. I've lived at the Courts of Avalon for over a year now, and it's been a great experience. Before moving in, I toured several communities in the area, and this one stood out as the best by far. The property is always well-maintained, the environment is peaceful, and the community feels safe and welcoming. The leasing staff is consistently helpful, and the property manager is approachable, responsive, and genuinely attentive to any concerns. I’m very happy with my decision and would recommend to anyone.
I have never in my life wrote a review, but this place is just so horrible that I am forced to notify future tenants. I wish I could give them negative 10! This place is a rip-off!!! Management is very very very unprofessional. They don't respond to anything. You have to constantly demand what you want, and all they say is: "I don't know what happened". Because of their delays you end up spending more. Maybe that's how they make money ripping off of the existing tenants! My advice- document every single payment and every single maintenance order because they will get you when you move out! They make so many mistakes and you will end up paying for them. They say they will do move-in and move-out inspections with you but they will never be available. So when you do have the existing maintena
*March 2026 update* Keith is no longer with the Courts of Avalon, and there is new management… things have really taken a turn and had I not just renewed my lease I would have joined the mass exodus and been out as well. One reason I chose this complex was because it was non-smoking.. well apparently even though that’s part of the lease terms, it’s okay to smoke on your balcony, or right outside your front door, and throw your cigarettes on the ground too, because nothing will be done about it. It’s also okay to let your dogs poop outside your apartment and not clean it up? (Cleaning up does not mean hucking some of it down into the woods, to whomst it may concern).
