The laundry room is disgusting, and there are roaches everywhere. The worst part is that they know there is a roach problem, but they do nothing about it. I also had a legal reason to be removed from the lease, and it took more than a week to get a solid answer, and this was after I threatened legal action.

Large apartment floor plans because they were built in the 60s when space was not an issue. Conveniently located with in walking distance to stores and the hospital. Easy going, and helpful office staff. Maintenance is usually very quick. Reserved parking is a plus. The complex is quiet in the evening as the neighbors are respectful to each other. Not the most modern but then again you are not paying the higher price. A great place to call home.

I REALLY wanted to love living here, we were so excited to move here because compared to our last place the apartments are a decent size and the office staff is nice, we were hoping to stay for at least two years, but the bug problem was genuinely so terrible it overshadowed literally everything else and the way the complex “handled it” was absolutely deplorable. You can only see cockroaches crawling all over your clean dishes so many times before it makes you feel a bit disgusted and bitter. I am a very clean person, I never leave food out, I’m cleaning constantly, and the counters and sink are all cleaned every night so there is no way that we could have caused a full on infestation. I I just recently moved out as I’m moving out of state but I lived here for a year and a half and my stay was absolutely pleasant. I had renovated flooring in my model which was a one bedroom and I absolutely loved the layout and spaciousness of my place. The few times that I did have issues where I had to place work orders they were fixed rather immediately that day or the next. The The entire Summerhill staff is so nice and caring for all of the tenants there.
