Customer Reviews
For some context, this is my first time leaving a review for an apartment with 10 YOE living in different apartments. This is my second year at Griffis in two different units. I lived in a unit facing more internal, pool/bbq area and now in a unit facing the north building. Especially, in this unit, it is unbelievably noisy with trash being taken in and out from the garage to the road. The rattling goes on as early as 6am or so and throughout the day on Mondays and some other days. If you work from home or spend a lot of time at home and sensitive to noise, I do not recommend this place. I have reached out to the leasing office but have heard there are no other feasible options. The entrance to the elevators in the garage on P1 and P2 are dirty with pets urinating and requires pressure w
I have really enjoyed living here. The staff and maintenance crew are professional (thank you, Rheanna, John and others!), yet kind. I have had very few maintenance needs, but they have always been serviced almost immediately and satisfactorily. The staff have always been helpful answering questions or resolving any minor issues experienced. It’s a wonderful place to call home. Thank you! A+++
I have lived here for almost 2 years and have had nothing but problems. The location is great and the surrounding shops are wonderful. But the customer service is beyond disappointing. Every time I have had an issue with either maintenance or the cleanliness of the buildings, they have been brushed aside or ignored. I am currently at battle with the front office because my washer unit is shaking uncontrollably to the point where it was busting out of the door, just for the maintenance crew to push it back in place and not give me a replacement or address the issue. The valet trash makes the hallways smell like garbage and they don’t pick up trash everyday. Dogs pee all over the stairwells and the cleaning crew doesn’t do daily cleans in there. The elevators make the worst sounds and ha
I have lived at this apartment complex for two years, and unfortunately my experience has shown that it falls far short of the “luxury” living it advertises. This week highlighted the ongoing issues with communication and customer service from the leasing office. Earlier in the week, management sent emails notifying residents about mandatory fire alarm testing and even sent reminders the morning it happened in my building. As a pet owner with a dog that is extremely sensitive to loud alarms, that communication was appreciated because it allowed me to plan ahead and take my dog out during the testing. However, on Friday there was additional fire alarm testing in my building with no email notification. I called the leasing office that morning and spoke with a staff member who told me the t
Management has a serious accountability problem. Elevators and garage gates were frequently down, sometimes for days, and instead of solutions, residents received long explanations about vendors, parts, and inspections. At no point was responsibility actually taken. Move-out was worse. I was charged hundreds for normal wear and tear, redundant services, and items that were returned or couldn’t reasonably be returned. When I disputed the charges, I received a collections notice rather than a resolution. After paying just to be done with it, I looked at management’s responses to other reviews — and they all follow the same script: acknowledge frustration, explain why it’s not their fault, and move on. If you value transparency, fairness, and ethical management practices, proceed with cau
