Spring Creek Apartments

This place is a nightmare. I am in the process of moving out.. they showed me a very nice apartment and moved into something totally different. Whatever you do don’t move here. Management does not communicate well with the tenants, they bully the old people. Maintenance comes when they feel like. There are drug addicts all over the place. People smoking weed, mice and no one cares how much you complain. The city should shut it down..

I live here. The new owners are working hard to improve it. It is cleaner now than it has ever been. The management is great. There is a lot of work to do in order to make all improvements. It can not be done overnight. If you like communal living this is a nice place.

This is one of the nastiest apartment complexes in decatur Il. They do not have a permanent custodian to keep the place clean. The public bathrooms remained locked so no one can use them. They advertise that they are newly remodeled and are now renting. Even with the "newly remodeled renovations" the best you can hope for is an apartment that looks like a room you would rent from Motel 6. This is substandard housing at its finest. At all cost try avoiding renting from them, I've seen nicer and cleaner animal shelters than this place.

This apartment complex is in dire need of maintenance. Water soaked carpeting, baseboard coming off the walls, leaking roof that was supposed to have been fixed six years ago and some areas within building that has mold. This complex is supposed to be inspected by HUD as they are getting tax credits for renting through section 8 program but it has not been inspected in over a year. It is amazing how they continue to receive assistance from HUD when they are in clear violation of there housing contract. It's a shame that low income individuals have to live like that because they are poor and have slum landlords.

It seems to be a nice place. I helped friends move so things into their apartment. They seem to be happy
