Riviera Apartments

Lived here for about 3 years - It was cheap rent to start, every lease renew they increase price by 50$ and they only do 6 month lease so it gets expensive quick. I moved because at 3 am someone attempted to steal my car, broke the window and busted my ignition, i scared them off but they also shot at me while they drove off. Not the apartments fault but this location is prime for stealing cars because the thief can get away so easily. The laundry room is expensive and the washers smell moldy half the time. Constant smell of weed from neighborss which is not so bad but the manager would accuse ME of smoking and knock on my door and harass me. I am writing to share my profoundly negative experience regarding the application process for an apartment at Rivera apartment in renton. I initially applied for an apartment, intending to move two months prior to receiving approval. During this time, I visited the office more than five times, but the office hours were highly inconsistent, and staff frequently failed to show up, opening and closing whenever they wanted. This showed a complete lack of respect for applicants. After a two-month wait, I was finally called and told my application was approved. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, I was quoted a different price than the one initially agreed upon. Furthermore, the employee I dealt with, Staff Member was unprofessional and disrespectful. She consistently ignored my email

My experience here has been excellent. The property manager, Marlyn, is incredibly kind, honest, and professional, which has made my stay wonderful. I’m really impressed with how well she manages the property—it’s always clean, safe, and well-maintained. I truly hope she continues to manage this place for a long time.

I’m currently living here and it’s a very peaceful and pleasant place. The studios are spacious, the environment is clean and quiet, and the neighbors are respectful. Any requests or issues are addressed promptly.

The property manager is very disrespectful, indifferent, and very comfortable making uninvited comments.. her assistant is very thuggish to say the least. The place is very poorly equipped.. mold-infected.. for me it was the property manager that made me leave.
