River's Edge Apartments

Probably my best rental experience in Indiana, EVER. Honest and pleasant. I wish I could've continued to live here. I stay in Carmel now. Shoutout to the staff here and the property manager and the other ladies in the office 100% top tier, fair and great workers. The units are lovely, spacious, well kept, pleasant and quiet. Maintenance works quickly. Ive never had an issue that took longer than a day to resolve. The pool area is nice and well kept so is the playground and bball court, tennis court could be better but I’ve never seen it being used anyway. The complex is clean and the common areas and gym are always neat and orderly. When equipment was out it was replaced immediately.

My air conditioner went out on Thursday evening. I reported it immediately. Not 5 minutes later maintenance was at my door. Determined unit was going to n eed to be replaced. A portable unit was brought into my apartment hooked up and I was as cool again. The following Monday my unit was replaced. They did a wonderful job job. Keep in mind they worked out in the 100 degree heat so I make me comfortable. Much appreciated.. Thank you so much maintenance team.

Gave 30 days notice, they asked to turn in keys early to help them turn the unit faster. After they got the keys they said we did not give them 30 days notice because we turned in the keys early as a favor. They said that means we moved out early and violated the 30 day notice. Never sent us a final bill but sent to collections. But they took the rent until the 31rst. So they want all of our money for the full 30 days but also say we left too early. I feel this is criminal. I wish I could give 0 stars.

In the 20 years I've been living on my own and mostly in apartments, this is probably the top 2 of the WORST. To begin, they changed the specific apartment I was set to move in to just days before moving in. Told me that the day we went to sign the lease was the only time we could tour an apartment (???), and then after signing the lease, I had left a cosigner behind to do the walk through so I could pick my keys up in the next few days... was called and told I'd have to completely resign the lease and pay application fees, etc. if I didn't pick the keys up THAT day (which was like 2 or 3 days after signing the lease).
