Federal Hill Apartments

I have been thoroughly impressed by the staff at Federal Hills Apartments. From our very first tour, Allison and Emily went above and beyond to help my family. We faced some unusual challenges finding a place to rent from out of state, but they were always ready to listen, support us, and guide us through all the paperwork. Their personal touch made the experience much better than at any other apartment community we visited, and I am truly grateful for that. My apartment was spotless and ready when I moved in, and since then, every member of the staff has continued to be helpful and responsive whenever I have questions or need assistance. Great experience living here. The property is well-kept and everything is handled quickly. Allison is an incredible leasing agent - super friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions or issues. She made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

DON'T BE FOOLED! A FEW MONTHS IN AND I REGRET MY DECISION DAILY! What they don't tell you: 1) Walls are so thin you can LITERALLY hear your neighbors peeing! 2) Parking is impossible because the garage is only for building A residence. And the ENTIRE city and building B is expected to fit into 30 outdoor parking spots that is aways full. 3) Guest for events don't following the garage rules, so they park in reserve spots. 4) There's no smoking, but residence still do it and office is passive about it 5) Hallways are stained by dog poop and urine and stink 6) There's structual cracks formulating in your unit daily! 7) Resident events are basically non-existent and the ones they do have, I'm told are mediocre for what we're paying. We have been complaining for months about noisy neighbors and the smell of marijuana coming into our apartment through the air ducts, and nothing has ever been resolved. Additionally: 1. The elevators are always dirty. 2. The restaurant on the first floor sometimes leaves the music on all night, making it impossible to sleep. 3. The girls at the office are not good at solving problems; they ignore you. 4. The gym is dirty. 5. The main restrooms and the gym bathrooms have no toilet paper and are dirty. Don’t be fooled. Think carefully.

Nice apartments with multiple floor plans to choose from. Ample parking space. When I first moved in, people did a good job of cleaning up after their pets outside. As more people have moved in with dogs, many are lax in cleaning up after them. It's frustrating to have to pay such close attention to where you walk outside. It's too bad that there are so many irresponsible pet owners here. Because the dog 'dirt' issue, I dropped my 5 star rating to a 4 star.
