PrairieGrass at Waukee Apartments

Parked in a spot for 10 minutes (you cant see the no parking sign when you get out cause you own car blocks it!). This place towed my car in 10 minutes. When I confronted the complex managers about the issue, they walked away and did not even want to help at all. Will not do business with these thieves no more!

This place is absolutely amazing! Stephanie and Emily have been so kind and helpful from the day I received my keys. My apartment home is like my Townhouse, except all on one floor. I sold my house to move here because I can no longer handle all of the stairs. I also have an attached garage. These apartment homes are super spacious, even the one bedroom. It's a gated community kept up very well. The maintenance crew, Kevin and Levi, are very kind and helpful also. If anything breaks they get to it right away. I highly recommend this community if you are looking to move into the area!❤🔥❤

Out of everywhere I’ve lived prairie grass has by far been my favorite. I enjoyed the community, residence and maintenance staff. They were very accommodating when we got behind on rent and allowed us to do a payment plan. In addition when my washing machine had a leak maintenance was there to help before I had even finished drying the floor and he had it fixed within a couple hours. My only complaint is the office staff either was unaware you could hear them in the gym/front entry or they didn’t care. I heard them talking about me on multiple occasions due to thin doors.

I’m not one to write reviews but I have had nothing but positive interactions with all of the staff at Prairie Grass in Waukee. I worked with Katie via e-mail and signed my lease while deployed. I took a chance as I had only seen the property in pictures. So glad I did as I’ve been here a year and have renewed for longer. In that time, I have had zero issues and then recently my washing machine went out. I put the maintenance ticket in on a Tuesday and had a replacement washing machine installed on Wednesday. Both maintenance and the office staff communicated so I knew what to expect. If that’s not excellent customer service then I don’t know what is. The price of rent is very reasonable for what you get - private entrance, patio, hard wood floors, washer and dryer in-unit, and 900 square

Updated: I spoke with management and they made things right. I appreciated the reach out and their concern for the matter. They must have had a recent management change because they are HORRIBLE now. They made a mistake and expect their tenants to deal with it due to their mistake rather than charging going forward. Their prior management/practices were better than this. DO NOT MOVE HERE! I will be moving once my lease is up if I cannot get out of here sooner.
