Attivo Trail - Waukee

Attivo Trail is a beautiful place to live. Attivo Trail is very well maintained & has an excellent friendly staff working here. There are lots of activities to take part in.

This used to be a wonderful place to live. Over the past few years Attivo Trail has gone drastically downhill. Members of the office staff are rude and have implemented a closed door policy. While continuing to raise rents, amenities we once had are gone or have been reduced. Safety does not seem to be a priority. Elevators trapping residents. Fire escape routes had doors locked with cones in front instead of clearing the snow. When a member of the office staff was asked, the response was degrading. There’s no compassion for the residents and customer service is poor at best. Senior management have been notified but refuse to respond to residents concerns. If you are looking for a great place to reside, it’s not here.

We have lived at Attivo Trail for three years and are very happy with our experiences. All of the staff are always helpful, friendly and courteous. Maintenance staff are the best. A calendar is available each month with activities and other information. We enjoy the weekly music on the Patio with a variety of entertainment. We have also enjoyed the availability of the pool and exercise room. Being able to get our mail each day without having to go outside is great.

When I took my first tour I knew Attivo Trail was the place for me. Beautiful apartments with large windows that lets the light in. The walk-in closets are spacious and every apartment has either a balcony or a patio. Love the fitness center and the indoor swimming pool. There are many resident led activities. My favorite is aquasize. It’s always good to be in the pool. There are many activities and bus trips and opportunities to socialize with other residents. There is no pressure to participate in anything but it’s good to have so much available. On-site management is excellent. It seems all of the staff are able to answer questions even if it’s not in their area. Maintenance staff are amazing. They respond quickly and do a great job. Overall Attivo Trail is a great place to live.

We lived at Attivo Trail-Waukee for about 9 months. While selecting a new home in 2023 we were impressed with what this Haverkamp property had to offer in terms of facilities, staff and engagement opportunities. Almost immediately, we discovered that the building soundproofing was insufficient, if not non-existent, and were plagued by noise from the neighbor above us. While providing lip-service to their desire to assist with addressing the issue, the property management team would do nothing to remedy the problem, or uphold our rights as tenants. After being denied the right to the peaceful enjoyment of our “home” for several months, with no solution at hand, we asked to be released from our lease.
