From cooking new recipes in our island-inspired kitchen space to brunching at the heated pool area with homemade sangria, there’s something for everyone. I’m also passionate about patio gardening, and Fireside provides the perfect environment for me to nurture my green thumb. I can’t express how grateful I am to the community, management, property owners, and maintenance staff. This property truly shines brightly and adds immense value to Waukee as we embark on our new journey as empty nesters. I've lived at Fireside Apartments in Waukee for over two years. The reason I'm giving three stars instead of five comes down to one person: the outgoing property manager, Trang. Throughout my time here, Trang twice attempted to have my service animal removed without ever hearing my side or conducting a proper investigation. She didn't take the time to understand my situation or why I have a service animal. Instead of communicating directly, she hid behind formal letters that felt more like harassment than professional correspondence. I eventually had to file a complaint with the Iowa Civil Rights Commission just to protect my rights as a resident. Here's an example of what I dealt with: A poodle bit someone on the property, and Trang sent me a notice demanding I remove my dog—even though

Absolutely love living here! I would recommend these apartments to everyone. The leasing staff is amazing, super helpful, friendly, and always quick to answer any questions. The amenities are great, everything is always super clean, and the whole place has a really welcoming and friendly vibe. The apartments are very spacious and new as you can see by my pictures. I’ve had nothing but a positive experience and honestly have zero complaints. Easily the best apartments in the area!!

Fireside at Waukee is more than just a place to live—it’s a community built on trust, quality, and exceptional service. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place that truly feels like home.

The facility itself is not only great, well kept, and modern, but the management is exceptionally wonderful. Specifically Trang. Despite how busy she is, she always takes her time through conversations with me and other tenants - ensuring she’s thorough and thoughtful. I very much appreciate her professionalism and kindness. She has made and continues to make my stay here at Fireside at Waukee very pleasant! Overall, I’m incredibly happy with my choice to live here. It’s a great place to call home!
