Living at Pinnacle Woods Apartments truly feels like waking up every morning in a cozy cabin nestled in the woods, surrounded by the songs of birds among the green trees~;-) The location is one of its greatest strengths: it’s close to the K-10 highway for easy commuting to nearby cities, and just minutes from Clinton Lake, Clinton State Park, and the Arboretum, making it perfect for hiking, swimming, picnics, and easy family outings on weekends. Additionally, the apartment is situated on a spacious property, offering stunning views of Lawrence’s sky and beautiful sunsets~:) Maintenance requests are extremely convenient, as they can be submitted online through the community website—a feature I really appreciate. I lived here for 6 months. In those 6 months, i had approx 10-15 inspections, all with only maybe a few days notice, so I had to call out to be there for the inspections (as they’ll just go in if you’re not there). The location is garbage for someone with no vehicle and its incredibly overpriced for the area, as it’s a 15 minute drive from Massachusetts Street. The parking is awful if you live in the back of the complex. The apartment itself was fine, but my microwave/appliances hadn’t been updated in almost 30 years (manufactured Nov 1997). So if you’re okay paying almost 2 grand a month for a 2 br apartment with outdated appliances that’s out of the way, then this apartment itself for you!

I'm a little afraid that my wonderful review will cause my rent to skyrocket (again). But honestly, this has been a wonderful place for me to live. Beautiful well kept property, safe, and friendly. Management and maintenance are quick to respond and very friendly. Kinda feels like a more personal community than your average apartment complex.

A little sad to go. This apartment complex has a fantastic location. It's a straight shot to any restaurant you could want, and it's one of the safest areas I have lived in Lawrence. This is one of the only apartment complexes where I have seen people leave their bikes outside and not get stolen. The only problem I encountered at this apartment was the drier; we couldn't quite get to work right sometimes. The apartment we had (I believe wheel chair accessible, 1st floor) had an excellent layout for the bedroom and office. Perfect place to get away from student housing/congestion.

Pinnacle Woods was a wonderful place to reside! Maintenance was always fast, friendly and efficient. The grounds were well maintained and the pool was lovely. The dog park was a great feature with a young, energetic pup! Everyone was friendly and there were monthly community events. Other reviewers mention the security deposit, which is simple, do what they ask and you’ll get it back😃. Some apartments can use upgrades and the parking can be a bit frustrating at times, but that’s all normal in apartment living. Overall a wonderful experience.
