Norris Hills

A family member lives here. Her initial rent was $1,100 + $200 for the amenities which equals $1,300 per month. About 4 months later her rent sky rocketed to $1,700. Management said it was because of her Electric Bill which is B.S.!! She doesn't have a separate Electric Bill in her name. She works alot of double shifts, which means she's hardly home and keeps her Heat set to 65°. She feels she's paying for other Tenants Electric Bill. I told her to contact 6 ABC to Troubleshoot this issue for her! Needless to say she's moving when her lease is up!!

This place is disgusting. The door has been broke for months and their nails coming out of the piece to the hallway door. I’ve called multiple times to get it fixed and yet it still hasn’t been done. This is a hazard and plenty of people have almost hit theirselves in the face including myself. Now if someone injures themselves, I’ll be sure to take legal action as this has been reported multiple times. Also, the place is disgusting. As you can see in the photos, they don’t keep up with the cleaning and bug infestation in the apartments and hallways. There are so many bugs and spider webs in the hallways. They don’t even keep up with the outside of the apartment. It’s embarrassing to have people come over. I had a maintenance guy tell me he was so shocked to see how clean our apartment was

Do NOT move here! The leasing office will seem as friendly as can be but just know when you move here you’re going to feel like you’re living in the projects. OVERPRICED but ghetto. Nobody comes out to deep clean my building ever. Theres been fires all over the complex with no explanation at all. Spider infestation in the building. If things break and you need maintenance to fix it…just know either maintenance will never come or half ass the job. They provide electricity through a 3rd party so expect to be taxed at way too much on your electric bill. Theres no security cameras so kids are breaking in the buildings and doing whatever they want. Promise it may seem good on the outside but its completely disgusting in here for the amount they charge per month.

Where to begin. If you have a job and need sleep for work, this is not the place for you. If you have a child and don’t want them around marijuana, this is not the place for you. If you don’t enjoy water damage, this is not the place for you. If you expect a complex to enforce its policies, this is not the place for you. If you LIKE roaches, this IS a the place for you. Basically, make this place your last option. Moving in here was one of the worst decisions I’ve made. I’d like to help you not end up like my family and I.

As far as the office goes, the staff is exceptional! Sandy, Gabby, and Aaliyah are wonderful with questions, concerns, and issues, return calls, they value your privacy, they take your concerns seriously, and they are always very helpful no matter what. They are knowledgeable, very friendly, and kind, as well. It's really impressive when the Manager of the company takes time out of their day to discuss some of the personal things going on in your life and how she and the company can help. It makes a huge difference in just where you want to live. They make you feel at home.
