450 Green Apartments

I am writing to formally report serious and distressing issues with the move-out process handled by the leasing office at 450 Green Apartments for my unit. On December 22, 2025, I submitted my move-out notice to the email address listed on the 450 Green Apartments website, with a stated move-out date of January 31, 2026. I did not receive a response for nearly two weeks. When I called the leasing office to follow up, I was informed that they had no record of my notice and that the email address listed on their website was incorrect. I immediately forwarded my original notice to the staff member I spoke with, who assured me the office would follow up that same day. No one contacted me until over a week later. We ended up moving out early because we bought a home. The communication from the management team was awful. The rent got jacked up by $40 a month at lease renewal and yet there was nothing new done to the unit at all. We were under the assumption that the patio at West Gate Arms was private with how it was described, and a year an a half later into our lease, we got told to remove the things we had on it. We had a green house, some plants, my daughters play table, and 2 chairs. When I called in to the office about it, the office worker was rude and disrespectful, telling me "just read the notice. I don't know what you don't understand. Its in the notice." The notice only said "remove the personal belongings by X date." But lets not forget that when we moved from 450 Green Apt to West Gate

.I went on a tour with my husband today, and the person who assisted us was very unprofessional, unfriendly, and lazy. He received a pizza while we were waiting, and when I asked to see the apartment, he only showed it to me on the computer. I told him that we had been quoted a price, which is why we came for the tour, but he gave us a higher price. His negative attitude made me say, "If I have to deal with your attitude every day if I live here, it will be very unpleasant to rent." He replied, "If you don't like it, leave and don't rent here." He was unfriendly, very unpleasant, and completely unprofessional. I don't want to live in a place like this, knowing that this person will be the one I have to deal with in the office. I’ve been a resident here going on year three and the changes with maintenance have been significant. I have noticed that service tickets are handled much faster and I notice anything damaged on the property have been fixed quickly, as well. Most recently, Chima and George found a leak from my apartment and fixed the issue within a few hours. I was impressed and appreciated the quick turn around.

No matter what time of the day Tyrone ensures to get all maintenance jobs done efficiently. He was able to fix my ceiling fan, fridge, and toilet (just to name a few), on different occasions. Each time the job was perfectly completed and he cleaned up after himself it was as if he was never there! Thank you so much for all your hard work!
