New Port Landing Apartments

These apartments are the cheapest in the area for a reason. Mice/Rats and roaches everywhere. Trash is always piled up. Turning off common area lights so when you came to the bad area you could not see going up the stairs. Had 3 to 4 different property management companies in two years. All of them were very rude. They didn’t care how the tenants lived but they made sure the office and the street of road heading to the office was in top shape for pictures. The apartments they show as model none of the apartments are that clean or updated. Not great for children. Not recommended for military service members. They do temporary fixes then if it breaks it’s your fault. Keep your lease and walk through so they don’t come after you on thing that were already marked wrong when you moved in. They

My experience here has been nothing but being treated Unfairly. My ceiling fell in my children bedroom and then they tried to rush me out giving me a 20/30 because my downstairs neighbor ceiling fell and they said it was caused by Stumping. Be mindful my children bedroom ceiling fell with no cracks in the ceiling nor any water damage. My Kitchen sink cabinet was held up with one nail, and fell down during thanksgiving as well as the water leaking under my kitchen sink and toilet and it developed a infestation of gnats in my kitchen and bathroom really bad. When I moved in July 2025 their was no refrigerator nor was the stove hooked up in the unit. It took a week to receive the appliances. My bathtub wouldn't drain for hours. I’m posting this review as a former tenant. While my husband and I stayed there we were forced to pay the electricity for our entire building because the other tenants were not working.The ceiling also collapsed on me while I was asleep and because of the position I was sleeping in, it caused damage to my back. We tried to sue them because they never fixed the crack in the ceiling that we were concerned about but because of management changing so often and the name change of the complex, they somehow evaded it. If you have children I do not recommend staying here. Our air conditioning also broke while we were there and the maintenance tech that they sent turned it off and back on and said it was fixed. I’ve been living here for two years and this is what I had to go through while I was there. I would put in request for maintenance to come and fix it but all they would do was patch it up then I had a rodent problem where they would send they rodent people out to put down bait but that’s was all. I had to go to the store myself to fill in the hole with some tape and rodent blocker. I say if you want to live here just live here for a year and that’s it because it takes too long for them to fix anything.

I don’t recommend this housing if you have kids. This place cycles through management like crazy. I have 2 toddlers & pregnant. From my move in, no one walked through the unit with me, they just told me take photos. Since living there I never had heat (moved in in December) & during the summer never had AC. I’ve made MANY complaints due to me having young ones. Winter was okay you can double up with blankets but summer? Was very harsh. Jonathan said that the AC company came and said my pipes, along with others were frozen over. Cool I left the air off for TWO days. My mom has a house and when it happened to her it only took a day to defrost. I called back and to let him know it still didn’t work and he said the AC people still needed to come out.. which made zero sense if he claimed they a
