Liberty Military Housing - The Village at New Gosport

Me and my family have just moved in two days ago. When we came to pick up the keys our point of contact meet us at the house, Brittany was amazing and very nice and friendly. She showed us the whole property and explained all of the paperwork very extensively and very easy to comprehend.

I am surprised this housing community doesn’t have a plethora of low-star ratings. I joined a neighborhood group for this neighborhood and I’m flabbergasted by the posts. We are coming from San Diego and lived in neighborhoods run by Liberty. We were expecting the same level of service however, that is not the case. Liberty in San Diego is light years ahead of this community in customer service, SECURITY, amenities, maintenance response time, and cleanliness to name a few. We were greeted by multiple vehicles that had their windows broken. From what I have seen and read this community has extremely high crime rates due to being in a terrible location. If you are okay with living in a community that has multiple break-ins, car theft, hearing gunshots often, unresolved pest infestations, or

Best housing we've been so far, We lived in 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. Big room with family room and extra room for our kids and a dining area, kitchen, washing machine area. They fixed our AC because it wasn't working, and sadly its in a bad neighborhood....

Ms. Angie StClaire is the best property manager I have ever known. She ensures that the tenants are well taken care of and treats them like a part of her own family. She takes the safety of children very seriously. I have enjoyed my time at this military housing. It was bitter sweet leaving due to retirement and moving back to my home of record. I will never forget the impact living here has made in my life.

My check in experience was amazing. Since being here maintenance has been very responsive and efficient as well as the housing staff. The neighborhood is kept clean. I look forward to spending the next few years here as my home.
