Stay away from this home builder. First check his DPOR record. Been cited for using an unlicensed subcontractor. My wife and I purchased a home from him in the end of 2019. Poorly built and most importantly the entire front two floors of our home were water damaged due to negligence in the build. We are having to pay $60,000. Outside of statute of limitations. No apology and no restitution. I provided the structural engineer report and costs to repair to him. He wanted to meet to discuss. We declined as we don’t want to ever deal with him. Had our inspection right before close not picked up improper flashing between hardi plank seams, which he argued initially against, that would have been another mistake we would not have known about. Owner is rude, even when your home is still in warranty, doesn't want to fix things. then when your roof starts to fall apart a few years after being built. doesn't want to help out. just responds with rudeness. i highly recommend not using this builder for your new home.
