Welcome to Ghettopolitan! We lasted less than 1.5 years here. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. The very few pros: The apartment itself was nice. The neighborhood is good for people who don't have a car. Very walkable, including a grocery store. Buses right outside (but they are NOISY). Good sound-proofing between units. Only time we heard a next door neighbor was when they were having a huge fight. The many cons: In the short time we lived there, the place went through 3 management teams. None were competent. Luckily, we weren't moving in on the day we took possession because our unit wasn't ready. They were finishing up installing the new flooring. They claimed the unit had been cleaned. It hadn't been. Upon move-in, they acknowledged our unit needed a new microwave and

When I moved here a couple years ago management has this building really clean and everything working and no homeless people peeing and using drugs outside the elevators now you can get into the building with no key fob since the doors are broken and the secure parking garage downstairs key fob is always broken and calling the leasing office they never answer. It’s always a third-party. Saying they will get back to you and never do also my car got broken into downstairs in the secured parking garage

Safety Concerns and Unresolved Issues at Metropolitan Place Apartments, Renton, WA We were initially drawn to Metropolitan Place Apartments due to its proximity to public transportation—a significant factor for our convenience. However, our experience quickly revealed unsettling issues that compelled us to reconsider signing a lease. Firstly, the elevators in the building emitted a strong odor that couldn't be attributed solely to pet neglect, as the management suggested. Upon further investigation through reviews, we discovered disturbing reports of unauthorized individuals freely accessing the building. These outsiders not only loitered in the hallways but also engaged in inappropriate behaviors, including urinating in the elevators. Given that I frequently return home from work at 3 a

I have had nothing but problems since I moved into this apartment. Before I even was able to move a single item in the apartment on move-in day, the apartment complex was unreachable for almost 3 hours passed the time I was supposed to receive my keys. Another thing to add, at this point, I had not even done a walkthrough or seen the apartment I was moving into because the complex was only doing virtual walkthroughs due to COVID. The property management also wanted to see if I could move in the afternoon even though I had been charged a prorated rent for that day and the days leading to the end of the month. I did not end up getting my keys or access to the building until almost 3pm which means I was still moving in things at around midnight on day one. Not a great start. Then, as time wen

Convenient location and could be great, but it's not. Thankfully, I was only forced to live here over the summer on a short term contract. As another reviewer mentioned, the amount of human urine on these premises is quite astounding. The elevator for the B building often reaks of old, rotten urine, and has an aroma similar to a highly frequented yet unkept bar restroom. This is due to the pools of sitting human urine at various places around the apartment complex. Avoiding the elevator does not significantly improve your experience. The stair wells are littered with trash and other foreign substances. There is also a vomit stain on the wall near the elevator that has not been cleaned over the three month period I lived here. Fully loaded dog excrement bags can be found strewn throughout
