Merion Trace Apartments

This is an apartment corporation so expect any human considerations to be waived by upper management. I did not renew my lease as the price kept going up. I started my lease for 1,189 dollars and on year 2 they raised my rent to 1,349 dollars for the large one bedroom. When asked why new tenants are being offered cheaper rent ($1,189) than loyal long term tenants, their answer was more or less “we comply with rental price adjustments for upper Darby area and offer competitive rates in relation to the market”. So if you stay here long term, just know that new tenants coming in will be paying lower rent than you. No incentives to stay. The mail room code has not been changed since I have been there so thieves will always steal your package because the apartment does not care to change their

The staff is excellent. Ali and Teagan, who do maintenance, took time out of their day to help me and my Dad move me in to my apartment, just out of the goodness of their hearts. Austin, the manager, has been responsive and helpful with all my questions. We had a few maintenance requests that were responded to within 24 hours. The apartment is nice and the complex feels safe. Plenty of parking. I am very happy so far.

I am honestly shocked to see so many good reviews for this place. I was here for two years, and can confirm what others have said regarding the decrease in quality once Woodward properties took over. Previous owners had pest control come out monthly, and that did wonders with keeping the pest problem at bay. It was still a problem, but it was not nearly as bad as it got once Woodward took over. We had a clean apartment, and we saw roaches and mouse’s all the time. If you entered a ticket about it for maintenance, they would come buy and put some glue traps down that they probably got at Lowe’s. These were not effective as the mouse’s would get out of them, and even if they did get caught by the trap, you would then have a mouse squeaking and thrashing around under your stove, and maintena

Apartments are so beautiful and clean maintenance come as soon as you put in the order management is such a sweetheart. Neighbors are very friendly building is very clean. Cameras in building is a plus laundry room on site. This is a beautiful place to live. I’m very happy that I’m here
