This company has no business working with people. Although they rent to college students, they take full advantage of the fact they young adults come and go. We have tried to get in touch with them to go through the move out routine, and they have yet to respond since our first attempt April. It is a scam they are running. When the student lives out of state, it is hard to follow up with leaving when the guidelines are sent a month after they leave; giving no other option then paying their outrageous costs for cleaning. DO NOT RENT RENT FROM THEM!

If i could review as 0 stars I would. This company basically stole from me. They claim they “forgot” to inform me of an unfit window screen that I had custom made because they “were very busy with turnover”, and was never told to have it picked up, and I was not even able to return it for my money back. It took me over a week to even hear back from them. On top of that charge, I was also charged nearly $200 for another installment. Tricia and Carter were very rude and unhelpful on the phone about the situation. Terrible values, terrible service, and terrible management. I would NOT recommend leasing with them. They are awful.

The homes this place manages are truly a wonderful place to live in Lawrence. They have a really nice swimming pool and area the grounds keepers are honest friendly and very professional keeping the yards clean and debris free if your looking for a great place to live go inquire about living here 😀

Meadowlark is a smaller property company that is down to earth and efficient. All of their maintenance workers, and lease handlers are extremely nice. I have never had a better experience with a management company and encourage everyone to rent with hem to avoid the scam artists that many KU property management companies are. They responded quickly to any maintenance issue, our house was taken care of and even got us a new washer and dryer within a week when ours broke, no charge. It was outstanding. After always making us feel comfortable and at home, I am sad to say I have to leave their company and look elsewhere due to graduation.

I can't even come close to describe how bad of a company this is and how much they overcharge people. I truly believe a lawyer could get a class action lawsuit against them for overcharging. For instance a $20 charge for wiping off the stove. There were previous conditions already there which I'm sure the previous tenants were charged for and then others were as well. I doubt they even use the money to fix things. Other ridiculous charges include wiping the dryer for $15 or things like not cleaning the vent grates which cost $30. Things like this were never stated that they needed cleaning in the first place. There was only one room that wasn't carpet, yet there was a charge for not mopping two rooms. Additionally the one room that didn't have carpet was scrubbed for hours. Replacements o
