Meadowbrook Village Apartments

I rented at Meadowbrook Village for one year. I liked my actual apartment, but overall my experience was disappointing. Amenities were falsely advertised (there is no tennis or basketball court), and one or both washing machines in my building were broken for nearly my entire lease with repeated false promises about repairs. Maintenance work was poorly done, and management was consistently rude and unhelpful, especially on move-in day when I arrived to an apartment that was still under construction and filthy. Other issues I saw in reviews and also experienced included outdated and poor appliances, dangerous balconies, water damage to my ceiling, a moldy bathroom, very loud noise from the parking lot and surrounding area, and rusted stairs. Overall, I would not recommend living here.

Lived here from May 2018 to March 2021 Communication is terrible from management. Takes multiple days for them to respond when you have issues in your apartment like flooding and no AC. When I first moved in they redid the concreate on my level and did NOT give us any notice that they were doing this so I just show up back from work not being able to access my apartment door because its all wet. I called management and they refused to come out and talk to me in person about this, they then suggested that I craw through a window if I leave them unlocked which of course I do not with living on the ground floor. No compensation about this. My apartment flooded multiple times due to the sump pump not working properly or it would just not be plugged into power at all. I have had to go into the

Management very meticulous. Place clean and well taken care of. Nice apartments in a really relaxing environment. Got lucky with the lake view..

My AC was out for an entire month during a heatwave, and the office gave me the runaround the entire time. They failed to provide updates, offered no compensation, and were completely unhelpful and unresponsive.

I used to live here for 2 years. The space is pretty good for the price that you pay. The kitchen however could is small. One major complain is since the buildings don't have a main gate, in winter, the snow can pile up right at your doorsteps which is annoying. The washer and dryer is in the basement so If you have an apartment on the top floor, be prepared to work out and this is painful especially in winters.
